We had a great week on vacation in Hilton Head. The weather was absolutely perfect and we all had a lot of fun together!
Diana loved playing at the beach!
She and Daddy built a big sand castle with shells for decoration.
Cara enjoyed the beach too, but not her swimming suit! She preferred to be dressed with shoes on!
My Baywatch babes!
Digging digging!
Diana has become much braver in the ocean and the water in general.
Gracie-girl!
The Russlers at the Salty Dog Cafe
The Benninghoffs at the Salty Dog
Early morning play time…Grace and Cara did not get the memo about sleeping in while on vacation. Both were up well before 7 every morning. Diana, however, enjoyed sleeping in!
Once all three girls were up, we tried to get a group shot in their matching jammies.
As was the theme of the week, Diana and Grace were very cooperative.
Cara, not so much…
The best we could do!
Walking on the beach.
One day there were several group of dolphins that swam by very close to shore. They even looked like they were playing and showing off a bit!
More digging!
Frisbee with Daddy
Searching for more shells
On Thursday, Daddy and Uncle John went to play golf. It was a little chilly, so we went to a local playground to play.
She only needed a little help, mainly a reassuring hand, and she made it to the top!
Not so coordinated on the spinning log, however!
Auntie Liz and Gracie
New best friends! Diana loved having another little person to boss around play with, and Grace loved following Diana around!
Hello! Some of the only smiles we saw all week from this girl came at the playground!
Cousins
Driving driving!
Back at the beach!
Diana LOVED being in the swimming pool with her daddy. Of course, it had to be the heated, inside pool!
Practicing dunking under the water
This is where Cara spent most of her time while at the swimming pool. She has NO interest in going in the water at all. Daddy even held her and put his feet in the water and she started to scream. Maybe swimming lessons are in order!
Practicing floating
We had so much fun together and are looking forward to all being together again this summer and maybe next spring!
