Frosty

Okay. So here I am, contemplating round 2 of Diana vs The Snow. Round 1 went to The Snow as I clung to Mommy as soon as Daddy opened the door. Now that Bobo and Daddy have cleared the entire driveway of that pretty (but scary) white stuff, I think I can venture out from the safety of my playroom.

Look, there it is. Down there in the corner. Snow. Wow, no glass in between us, and it's not attacking me. Very interesting. Perhaps I can actually move about freely without any concern...

...on the sidewalk, of course. Hey, Mommy and Daddy, what's this? There are some little people in the snow.

And a big person, too. I think they have meetings for people like him (2 beer bottle tops for eyes and a wine cork for a nose). What ever happened to coal, Daddy? Let's try and get it together for next time.

And now for the moment you've all been waiting for...Diana in the snow. Thanks to a brief 2 second flight from the sidewalk to this nicely compressed patch of snow courtesy of Daddy Airlines, I will stand here for exactly 30 seconds in order for Mommy to capture this historic event before I will commence showing my displeasure. Hurry up, please, Mommy.

Alright, Daddy, good enough. You've had your fun. Now get me out of here.

Merry Christmas!!

Guess what

Guess what. It snowed a lot this weekend.

Guess what else. I'm cute and a princess. See. It says so on my PJs, and my Daddy tells me that all the time.

I've also got an incredible sense of style. You guys all thought that I only knew how to dress up in my diaper, high heels, and jewels. Oh, no. I can also make baseball hats and sweat suits look good. The high heels are a must, though.

On a final note, a true celebrity stopped by my house today. Santa took some time out of his busy holiday schedule to come to our winter wonderland here in Stafford to wish me a Merry Christmas.

It was very nice to see him. It was even nicer that he brought presents with him. He brought a bus and a tea set with him today. I was captivated by them the entire rest of the day.

Thanks for coming, Santa. Mommy and Grandma say you're welcome back any time you'd like.

I say you're welcome back any time you're bearing gifts. I like presents.

Merry Christmas.

Christmas Vacation

I am so glad that Christmas vacation has finally begun. Unlike most people, I don't look forward to Christmas vacation so that I can take a break from my daily routine. My rigorous play schedule is still on-going. However, I like Christmas for all the additional fun things I get to do.
Below is an assortment of photos from the last few weeks highlighting some of the fun I've been having. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

This is my little Christmas tree. Mommy and Daddy let me help decorate this year, and I've been very good about not taking the ornaments off the tree. The only one that tends to disappear from time to time is the Elmo ornament.

Another great thing about Christmas vacation is that Daddy gets to spend 2 full weeks at home. He's been telling me that the next two weeks will be full of great football games. That means lots of snuggle time in Daddy's chair...and lots of sausage dip. Yum!!

As Mommy mentioned in previous posts, and as you'll see below, I like to take my clothes off at random points during the day. Here I helped Daddy set up the camera one Sunday morning to take a picture for our Christmas card. Daddy was unsuccessful in convincing Mommy to use this picture on the card.

Now for the real fun. In case you hadn't heard, I love to play dress up, even though I usually end up with less clothes than when I began.

The great thing about Christmas is that so many visitors are coming to ooh and aah at my incredible sense of style. Wawa and Bobo are here this week, and Wawa and Wewe are coming next week. Stay tuned for pictures from all the Christmas fun.

Go Pack Go!!

Is there anything better on a Sunday afternoon than taking a 3 hour nap (as noted by the beautiful hair) followed by watching highlights of the Packers' victory? Go Pack Go!!

Christmas Discipline

Rumor has it that Joseph was planning on walking out on Mary. That's not very nice. If Diana were God, there would have been no angels appearing in dreams. Joseph simply would have been immediately put into time out. Bad Joseph. Diana will be back shortly to counsel you appropriately.

Of course, if the nativity were determined by our little angel, there also wouldn't have been any sheep. They would have been put in the shopping cart for dinner tomorrow, which is where Daddy found them last night. Perhaps it's time for Daddy to move the nativity scene to a higher location. If you come visit us this Christmas season, don't be surprised to find it on top of the fridge or on a tall bookshelf.
