After we left Indiana, we set off for Appleton! Our stay there was divided into 2 parts with a trip to Minocqua for the 4th of July, so here are the pics from our two stays at Grandma and Bobo’s house!
During cocktail hour on our first night there, Bobo got to read stories to the girls. They became big fans of the Berenstain Bears while we were there!
On Monday we went to visit Lambeau Field and visit the Packer Pro Shop. Mommy wanted to get a new sticker for her car, but the girls found something much more exciting…a Clay Matthews mannequin!
Outside with St. Vince
That night Uncle John, Auntie Liz, and more importantly Gracie(!) arrived! Here they are, conspiring how to get into trouble behind Grandma’s couches…
Here we took our trip to Minocqua. Now we are back in Appleton after the 4th.
Sweet girls. They did such a great job sharing a room and even a bed for most of the trip.
Playing in Grandma and Bobo’s pool
Even Cara enjoyed it!
Snacks for Gracie on her Mommy and Daddy’s anniversary!
The happy couple on their 6th anniversary
Opening cards
The salmon en croute that Cind made for the anniversary dinner…that is a plus sign, don’t worry.
Getting into trouble again…
Diana in the swimming pool! She really blossomed as a swimmer in Minocqua! (Pics coming next)
Gracie in the pool (Cara was having diaper issues so did not join us at the pool)
Fun for all at the park! This park is a really neat park, because it is an accessible park for all kids, especially differently-abled children. They have a slide that is wheelchair accessible and swings that can be pumped with your arms.
Auntie Liz enjoying the swings!
Grandma enjoying the monkey bars
Cara and Bobo on the teeter totter
Bobo giving Cara her first driving lesson.
Bobo gettin’ down on the drums
Cara backin’ him up!

The next day we went to the Children’s Museum in Appleton.

Firefighter Diana!
Cheese!
Uncle John, showing the way
Ready for action. Very serious.
Uncle John trying to stay balanced. Diana won, with a time of 48 seconds, before she got bored. John got 3.8 seconds, while I could only manage 3.2. They said on the sign that children are better at it because they have lower centers of gravity. Clearly.
Piggy Diana
Froggy Gracie
Cow ( I think) Cara and Frog Grace
Our last night in WI we had our now tradition BBQ with our friends that still live in town. Yummy Spotted Cow brewski…
A multi-generational cousins photo. My mom (far left) and Julie’s (far right) dad are first cousins. The rest is too complicated to explain, unless you are Southern and understand various stages of removal of cousins.
