Happy Reforma...er...Halloween!

I'll be the first to admit it...I really don't like Halloween. It seems rather Communistic sending your children around to beg for candy for no other reason than they have a dress-up dress on. Plus then there is a surplus of sugar in my household, and that benefits no one. :) That being said, my children LOVE Halloween. They think it is most excellent that people will give them free candy just for being the cute things that they are...and they are the cutest things around. Daddy said that everybody was just gooing over how adorable they were...not that I'm surprised. Evidence of the adorable-ness...

These first pictures were taken on Friday before and during our church's Fall Festival and Trunk o' Treat.

Diana dressed as Merida, the princess from the new Disney movie "Brave".  Cara was a puppy dog, a recycled costume from her sister, seen here.

Eating at the church before Trunk o' Treat

Cara showed off more puppy moves by licking all the icing off her cupcake.  :)

What?

I love cupcakes!

Diana and her friend Payton, who dressed as a Bears cheerleader, but we won't hold it against her...

Visiting cars...Diana with her friend Ainsley, who also dressed as Merida, but did not need the wig, as she has natural long, red hair!

Trick or treat!

Visiting our neighbors

Look!  Candy!

Yum!

Daddy said that Cara was very polite and was quick to say thank you every time!  Her big sister needed a little reminding...
